Heat Transfer Plate for 9Barista | Non-Induction Stoves

This Heat Transfer Plate comes as standard with every 9Barista Mk.1 espresso machine and is designed for use on non-induction cookers. 9Barista Mk.2 models may select which plate they would like in their set up.

Made from a single solid piece of aluminium, it’s an improved version of the original multi-part heat exchanger plate, which is no longer in production.

Its solid construction makes it more durable and warp-resistant, it won’t bow or delaminate, even after repeated use. The plate also heats more efficiently, reducing the time it takes to brew your espresso compared to earlier versions.

Finished in black, the plate will gradually change color, from black to red to silver, as it’s used. This is perfectly normal and serves as a helpful visual cue that your plate is transferring heat properly to your 9Barista.

Compatible with gas, electric, and ceramic cooktops, this plate is not suitable for induction stoves. For induction use, please see our dedicated Induction Adaptor Plate.
